Privacy Policy

At Olivier Vino, LLC (“Olivier Vino,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe your personal information should be treated with respect. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through OlivierVino.com and our Clubhouse program, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

  • If you purchase wine, additional information may be required to complete the transaction, including your billing and shipping information and information necessary to verify that you are legally eligible to purchase or receive alcohol.

Olivier Vino sells alcoholic beverages intended only for adults age 21 and older. Our wine offerings and Clubhouse are not directed to individuals under 21.

You must be at least 21 years old to purchase wine from Olivier Vino or receive a wine shipment.

  • We keep the information we collect limited to what we need to communicate with you, manage the Clubhouse, fulfill orders, and operate our website.

    • Clubhouse membership information

    • Information you voluntarily provide when communicating with us

We collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, and dates of birth from Clubhouse members. Because we sell wine, age-related information may also be used to confirm eligibility to purchase or receive alcoholic beverages.

    EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS & MAILCHIMP

We use Mailchimp, an Intuit company, to manage our email list and send Clubhouse communications, announcements, wine releases, event information, and other correspondence.

    INFORMATION SHARED WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may provide limited personal information to companies that perform services necessary to operate our business.

These may include our email service provider, Mailchimp; website hosting and technology providers; payment processors; shipping carriers; and our winery and fulfillment partners.

For eligible out-of-state wine shipments, information necessary to process and fulfill your order may be provided to our winery partner, Aonair, in California, as well as the applicable shipping carrier.

These service providers receive information for purposes related to providing services to us or completing your transaction. We do not sell your information to them.

Shipping details

We want your wine to arrive safely and in great condition. Because wine is a regulated product — and because summers and wine don't always make the best traveling companions — shipping may work a little differently than ordering an ordinary package.

Here's what you need to know.

  • Wine is available for shipment only to locations where direct-to-consumer wine shipping is legally permitted and where we or our fulfillment partners are authorized to ship.

Wine shipping laws vary by state. Some states prohibit certain direct-to-consumer wine shipments, while others impose licensing, volume, product, or other restrictions.

As a result, availability may vary depending on the destination and may change as laws, licenses, carrier requirements, or fulfillment capabilities change.

An order is not guaranteed to be eligible for shipment simply because an address can be entered on our website or an order request can be submitted.

If we cannot legally fulfill an order to your destination, we will contact you.

    LOCAL ORDERS

Baton Rouge-area wine sales and deliveries handled by Olivier Vino, LLC remain subject to applicable Louisiana alcoholic beverage laws and age-verification requirements.

A person receiving wine must be at least 21 years old. We reserve the right to request identification and to refuse delivery if legal age cannot be verified.

  • Olivier Family Reserve wines and BamVino are sold by Olivier Vino, LLC.

Local sales and eligible shipments may be fulfilled directly by Olivier Vino, LLC.

For certain out-of-state orders, shipping and fulfillment are coordinated through our California winery partner, Aonair, in accordance with applicable state and federal alcohol laws.

Depending on the destination, the seller, shipper, or fulfillment party identified on transaction and shipping documentation may vary as required by applicable law.

  • SHIPPING RATES

Shipping rates vary based on destination, number of bottles, carrier rates, service level, seasonal conditions, and other applicable shipping or handling requirements.

Any applicable shipping charges will be communicated or displayed in connection with your order.

    YOU MUST BE 21+

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine.

Wine shipments also require an Adult Signature (21+) at delivery. The carrier may require the person accepting the shipment to present a valid government-issued photo ID showing that they are at least 21 years old.

Wine cannot simply be left unattended at a residence.

Because an adult must be available to accept the shipment, we strongly recommend shipping wine to an address where someone age 21 or older will normally be available during carrier delivery hours.

Where permitted by the carrier and applicable law, alternative delivery or hold-for-pickup options may be available.

    DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Please keep an eye on your tracking information once your wine ships.

Carriers generally make a limited number of delivery attempts for packages requiring an adult signature. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the package may be returned to the shipper.

If you know there may be a problem receiving your shipment, please contact us before the third delivery attempt so we can determine whether another delivery option is available.

Additional shipping, return, or reshipment charges resulting from missed delivery attempts, an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to provide the required adult signature may be the customer's responsibility.

Because alcoholic beverages are subject to state-specific laws governing their sale, shipment, return, and resale, refused or returned wine shipments may not be eligible for a refund. Any refund or reshipment will be determined based on the circumstances of the order and applicable law.

If something's off, please get in touch with us before the third delivery attempt. We'd much rather help you get your wine than have it make the trip back.

    WEATHER HOLDS

Wine is sensitive to extreme temperatures.

During periods of excessive heat or cold, we or our winery/fulfillment partner may delay shipment to help protect the quality of your wine.

This means your order may not leave immediately after it is placed, particularly during warmer months or extreme weather events.

We appreciate your patience. We'd rather your wine spend a little more time waiting in a temperature-controlled environment than spend a weekend sitting in a hot delivery truck.

    SHIPPING TIMES

Estimated shipping or delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery times may be affected by weather, carrier delays, seasonal shipping holds, holidays, regulatory requirements, destination restrictions, or other circumstances outside our control.

Once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, tracking information should be used for the most current delivery information.

    PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Please review your address carefully before your order ships. Because wine shipments are regulated and require an adult signature, changing or redirecting a shipment after it has entered the carrier's network may not always be possible.

Additional charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, failed delivery, return to sender, or requested reshipment may be the customer's responsibility.

  • DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS

If your wine arrives damaged, leaking, or otherwise appears to have been damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible.

If possible, keep the bottle, packaging, shipping label, and any damaged materials and take photographs of the package and contents. This information may be needed to submit a carrier claim or arrange an appropriate replacement or resolution.

Please also contact us promptly if you believe you received the wrong wine or there is another issue with your order.

Do not independently ship alcohol back to Olivier Vino or our winery partner. Alcohol returns are subject to carrier and legal restrictions, and any authorized return must be coordinated with us.

    RETURNS & REFUNDS

Because wine is an alcoholic beverage subject to state-specific regulations, we cannot accept ordinary returns simply because a customer changes their mind.

If an order is damaged, incorrect, defective, undeliverable, or otherwise requires attention, please contact us so we can determine the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances and applicable law.

Shipping charges and costs associated with refused packages, failed delivery attempts, incorrect addresses, or unauthorized returns may be non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.
